Library Group Events
Several library groups meet at the library regularly and are open to the public:
South Hampton Library Book Club
The Book Club meets every six weeks to discuss ideas on books of
varied topics. Membership is free and all are welcome. Contact the library to learn more about the current book assignment and how to join in.
Genealogy Group
A group of like-minded individuals interested in their family history and tracking their lineages. Whether you are just starting to reserach your family tree or have been researching for years, there is something for everyone. We meet regularly on the 3rd Saturday of the month at 10.30pm and work together to help each other along the way. South Hampton Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Library is a nonprofit group, independent from the library administration, that supports and promotes the South Hampton Public Library through a variety of community events and fundraising activities. The organization was officially founded in Januray 1962, and has been a trusted, impactful partner of the library since. The Friends of the Library meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7pm.
